The rumors were true. Activision revealed their new Call of Duty title by releasing a reveal trailer on YouTube. Taking the title back to its origins, the new Call of Duty game – Call of Duty: WWII is set to be released on 3 November 2017. It will be the 14th game title in the Call of Duty franchise and the 2nd game that is being developed by the Sledgehammer. It was a major setback for Call of Duty’s previous game – Call of Duty Infinite Warfare which was heavily criticized by the fans for being too futuristic but, with this new title Call of Duty will be bringing back those classic boots on the ground game-play, something that we’ve not seen before. As of now, the best world war game out there is the well acclaimed Battlefield 1 published by EA. And with its release Call of Duty: WWII will be undoubtedly a strong rival for battlefield 1. The game will be powered by the same IW Engine which is used to power the previous Modern Warfare and Black Ops games.
